The ceremony was held at the Convention Hall of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on 28th September 2016. The Hong Kong Q-Mark Council was honored to have the Financial Secretary the Hon John Tsang as the guest of honour. Mr. Tsang presented Q-Mark licences to six new companies to recognise their distinguished achievements in obtaining the Q-Mark certification. Furthermore he also presented certificates of recognition to four Q-Mark licencees which licences extended over 20 consecutive years. In the latter half of the evening, the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Mr. Gregory So presented trophies to 21 winners of “2016 Q-Mark Elite Brand Awards” and the winner of this year’s newly added “Top Q-Mark Enhancement Award”. He also presented trophies to 4 student team winners of the “Q-Mark Slogan King Awards”. A total of over 500 guests attended the ceremony.
